The company's technology is still under construction. Earlier on Thursday, Fossil said that smartwatch technology could be sold to Google for $ 40 million.

After the announcement, the stock price of the watch company rose 11 percent in one jump.
According to Fossil, the agreement is expected to be signed by Google in January.

Stacey Bar, vice president of product management department of Google's smartwatch platform Wire OS, said, "Proof of our commitment to the device sector is the reason behind joining Fossil Group's technology and team."

Fossil has recently started to bring the War OS-enabled 'sports' product. The company said that SmartWatch is one of the fastest growing categories.

Grace McKellove, chief strategist and digital officer of Fossil, said, "Our innovative partner with Google will continue to expand the range of devices we spend on."
